Super Bowl Champion David Diehl Of NY Giants

Wearing a NY Croatia Soccer Club scarf, the New York Giant's David Diehl celebrated his team's Superbowl win against the Patriots.

Diehl's mother is a Croatian and his father a German. The Giant's offensive guard was proudly showing off his Croatian heritage at the end of the game, displaying a scarf and a tattoo of the Croatian coat of arms.

Diehl was born in Chicago, Illinois. Fourth time in history, the players of New York Giants scored the Super Bowl title, this time winning against Patriots 21-17.

Many props and salutations to David Diehl for being proud to represent his culture and heritage. GO BIG BLUE!!!

NY Croatia Soccer Club Looking To The Future

After being on the fringe of huge success the past 2 seasons the NY Croatia Soccer Club is looking to toward the future in the 2011-2012 Season in Cosmopolitan Soccer League First Division.

Returning are core players such as Filip and Marko Loncar, Tommy Mustac, Alex Luna and Mike Zaborski. New additions, like brothers Tommy and Chris Bistre and David and Marko Ciklic, will make an immediate impact.

The most noise will be heard from former reserve players Kevin Skrivanich, Christian Vlahinic, Renan Lopes and Chris Hernandez. They are hungry for the challenge of playing for the 1st team which is a far different league than the reserves.

Most importantly, is the addition of Zoran Bistre as head coach of the NY Croatia 1st team. "Our biggest challenge will be to take all the individual talent we have on the field and turn it into a cohesive team. Ultimately, it is the players themselves who will determine how fast this happens." mused Zoran.

Regardless, with all the new talent and young blood it will be an interesting 2011-2012 season.
